Who we are

Paula and Mike Micalizzi worked for 20 plus years in the glass industry in their home state of Connecticut. Managing glass install companies and running one of the largest glass distributors in the state.

After moving to Florida in 2008, Mike worked for large Glazing Contractors. Seeing how the Florida market differed from his home state of Connecticut, he noticed many holes in the industry that were not being filled like back home.

Mike and Paula opened Central Florida Glass Distributors in January 2016. Starting off in a small warehouse space in Longwood Florida, where they began servicing the All-Glass Shower Clients. Starting with a 1,750 square foot facility and growing rapidly over their first year, allowing them to expand into a 3,000 square foot location in the same industrial complex.

After 2 years, Central Florida Glass Distributors was bursting at the seams with their inventory and staff.

Finding a new location in Debary Florida, Central Florida Glass Distributors moved into a 7,000 square foot facility, which led them into the fabrication of more Architectural product, such as Storefront and Curtain Wall Systems. This opened the doors to a greater client base, not just the shower industry. After being in this facility for just 6 months, they had to take an additional 3,000 square foot storage location next door.

As things progressed rapidly, they soon ran out of space after 6 years. In the fall of 2024, Central Florida Glass Distributors had an opportunity to lease a much larger location. In October, they moved into their current location at 645 Hickman Circle in Sanford Florida. This new location hosts 5,000 square feet of office space along with 15,000 square feet dedicated to fabrication and warehousing. This expanded facility enables the company to streamline operations, enhance service capabilities, and better accommodate the evolving needs of their clients. With this move Central Florida Glass Distributors is well-positioned to support continued growth while maintaining their commitment to 100% customer satisfaction.
